Coach/Staff bio

This is my sixth year with Red River Infinity. I have coached all ages and all skill levels at RRIV. During the fall I am an assistant coach at West Fargo Sheyenne as the head freshmen coach. I have been with the Mustang program for the past ten seasons. Previously, I was the head coach at Fargo Oak Grove for five years.

I was the founder of the Oak Grove Club program and coached their 16 and 18 teams and served as the club president and director. I have been coaching volleyball for almost twenty years at both the high school and club levels.

I am from Crookston, Minnesota and a graduate of Moorhead State University with a BS degree in Accounting. I also have an associate degree in Computer Programming. I work for Blue Cross Blue Shield of ND as a Senior System Engineer. I also own a computer consulting business.

I have a son and a daughter, both are married and living in the area. I am a grandfather of three. My daughter has a son and two daughters, all under the age of six.

I enjoy working with players of all ages and skill levels and helping them become better players. Volleyball is a great game that requires individual skills to come together to play as a team to be successful. It is satisfying for me to see the players improve their skills, develop into a team, and have success, while also having fun.

My coaching moto is “Work Hard and have Fun”.
